What is Times Square Ink?
Times Square Ink is a not-for-profit organization that provides
professional training to over 250 New York City residents
each year. Trainees attend our program full-time, Monday through
Friday, to upgrade their skills in computers, customer service,
proper telephone procedures, messengering and office services.
Trainees also enhance their workplace etiquette and other
important interpersonal skills in a professional setting.
After carefully screening trainees, Times Square Ink job developers
match them to appropriate positions. All of Times Square Ink’s
services are free.

How Can I Trust That I’m Getting
Qualified People?
We work full-time with job seekers at our training center
before referring them to an employer. Over that time we assess
strengths and weaknesses. We discover who possesses a strong
work ethic, who stays calm under pressure, and who can communicate
well in multiple languages. We know who types 70 wpm, who
is proficient in PowerPoint and who can operate a multi-line
switchboard. In contrast to a standard 30 minute interview
that reveals very little about an applicant, we get to know
how candidates really work on the job and under pressure.
We evaluate each candidate’s skills to ensure that employers’
needs are not only met but exceeded. But don’t take
