Are you looking for a structured and productive way to get the job you want? Are you having a hard time getting employers to recognize your potential? If yes, take advantage of Times Square Ink’s free job training program.

Why Times Square Ink?
Times Square Ink provides the skills employers want plus the tools and resources you need to get noticed, in a full-time setting that prepares you for the workplace.

Who?
Motivated, low-income residents of New York City determined to return to the workforce. Please call 646-264-1338 to see if you qualify.

When?
Times Square Ink is a full-time program that runs Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. The average time to placement in employment is approximately 6 weeks. A new class starts every two weeks.

Times Square Ink is located in the historic Midtown Community Court building at 314 West 54th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. Click here for directions.

What training does TSI provide?

  • Valuable computer skills such Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), email and Internet techniques
  • General office service skills including filing, faxing, copying, customer service and messengering
  • “Soft skills” training in conflict resolution, time management, workplace dress and proper etiquette
  • Largely self-paced curriculum that allows you to work at the speed that feels most comfortable
  • Small average enrollments of 18 to 20 allows for individual attention

What job placement services does TSI provide?

  • Personalized resume assistance – not a generic software resume generator
  • Job referrals from experienced job developers with extensive connections to employers
  • Training in access to wide variety of Internet employment sites
  • Assistance in obtaining state identification,
  • Social Security cards and other work-related documentation

What support services does TSI provide?

  • Professional clothing through our in-house “Business Boutique” clothing closet and referrals to outside clothing organizations
  • Referrals to GED, ESL, ABE, ITA and other educational and training programs

What post-placement services does TSI provide?

  • Membership in the Times Square Ink Alumni Association
  • Certificate in Office Services Skills upon completion of training
  • Monthly Alumni dinners with free food and speakers
  • A $76 unlimited monthly MetroCard for the first 6 months of work (worth almost $500)!
